By associated NGO Sidai Maasai Women Organization and Sidai design studio in Tanzania in collaboration with Berlin-based  contemporary fair trade design and fashion brand Folkdays.

Whether styled as a single piece or in combination with other jewellery, this necklace brings warm colour accents to any outfit thanks to its yellow glass beads. The necklace is handmade by Maasai artisans in Tanzania. Glass bead jewellery has a high value in the Maasai culture and so do the techniques used to create it by hand. The manifold glass bead jewellery by Sidai Designs therefore picks up the traditional bead embroidery techniques of the Maasai in its production.
