Madi Doll
- Worldwide shipping from Sweden & Germany
By SilaiWali in collaboration with MADE51 by the United Nations High Commission for Refugees.
Crafted by Afghan refugees living in India. Beautifully designed dolls represent women from around the world. Crafted using waste materials from industrial clothing production, each one is as unique as the refugee women who stitched it.
Madi, true to her name, stands tall in her traditional Tibetan dress, radiating praise and admiration. Her chuba, a warm ankle-length robe, is bound around the waist by a long sash, embodying resilience and grace. The upper portion of her attire transforms into a large pocket, carrying essentials from money to bowls.
