Each rug is a limited edition, inspired by the beauty of nature and influenced by Mexican traditions. Made with 100% wool from local sheep, these rugs are carefully woven on traditional handlooms and undergo a thorough process of wool gathering, washing, carding, hand spinning, dyeing, weaving, cleaning, and brushing before reaching you. M.A's attention to detail and dedication to their craft ensures that every rug is of the highest quality, made with love and respect for the wool and the environment.

Meet M.A.

M.A. is a project that combines artistic creations with artisanal methods. Based in Mexico City but with production seasons in different communities of Mexico, inspired by traditions, the autochthonous, native beliefs, and local knowledge. M.A counts a team of 20 artisans from Oaxaca, Mexico, and a design team in Mexico City, led by Melissa Ávila, a multidisciplinary artist from Tijuana.
