Cornelio Borda's designs are intricately developed between Peru and Italy, with manufacturing in Peru, collaborating with specialists from both countries and with a commitment to sustainability by repurposing waste materials, in line with sustainable non-fast fashion values.

The Alpaca Carpet line avoids animal fur, using Alpaca wool and, in some models, Pima Cotton yarn, sourced from clothing production remnants in Peru. These unique carpets are handmade stitch by stitch, then brushed for a soft texture, used in shoes and bags. The embroidery technique was first trialed with Italian artisans and later perfected by Peruvian female artisans, with each pair of shoes and bags taking a day to embroider.
