Sillas Playera by Atlas is a collection of foldable chairs designed by Mariana Vieira.

Each textile is meticulously handmade by the Wayuu Iwouya indigenous communities in La Guajira, Colombia, using the traditional "tapiz gualdrapa" technique. The geometric figures of nature, including plants and animals, as well as the cosmology of the Wayuu communities served as inspiration for this collection. Plus, with each purchase, you are directly supporting the development of Wayuu communities.

Atlas was founded by the Colombian designer Mariana Vieira. Mariana works exclusively with indigenous communities through a participatory design approach by exchanging knowledge on traditional and modern production techniques. The Colombian industrial designer carries the culture of her country in her veins and constantly reinterprets it in her work.
